WARRANTY for ONLINE ORDERS

For your piece of mind we include a 3 year warranty* with all of our PC systems, and 12 month as standard on all of our laptops.  Please read all the terms before you make a warranty claim.


In the unlikely event of an issue, you can contact us 7 days a week.

The best method of contact is via email customercare@ac-technology.co.uk as we are able to send useful links and support videos etc to help with the vast majority of issues quickly.

We provide free technical support via email and are open 7 days a week, excluding Christmas and New Years Day.

Should you have any issue whatsoever just contact us and we will do our utmost to provide help and support the same day. 

All the parts that we supply in our PCs are thoroughly tested to ensure that we provide an extremely high level of quality control. 

When you buy from us you are buying from a highly experienced and qualified team of engineers who have been in the business for over 22 years. All PCs are constructed using some of the industries best quality components, then built professionally and tested thoroughly so we can give you a 3 year warranty with confidence. All PC peripherals, Cases, Power Supplies and Graphics cards are Brand New. All Ryzen and Coffee lake systems are 100% New Components from major brands. The most important part of a PC system is the graphics card when it comes. These are supplied with our standard 3 year warranty.

DELIVERY

NOVEMBER/DECEMBER As our PCs are custom made we aim to dispatch it within 7-14 working days. At busy periods of the year this may increase, so if your order if of an urgent nature please call us before placing an order.

Many of our local orders with 25 miles are delivered by our own driver of an evening for your convenience. On the day of delivery we will call you from 07484 918 339 so please save this number as we are unable to deliver if we do not get a response from you by phone. In addition to this please ensure that your number is correct and is of the number of someone who is able to take the call.

Orders that are outside of our local driver area are dispatched by major couriers usually on a next working day service. You will receive the tracking number as soon as it has left us and we are then unable to make any changes. Delivery can be between 8am and 6pm so if you need more details you will need to call the courier direct.

ECONOMY SHIPPING - Free or discounted shipping for those who are not in a hurry. This can be a few working days most of the year but NOVEMBER & DECEMBER this can be up to 14 working days. Please ensure that you leave plenty pf time for the goods to arrive if you want them for Christmas.

Our Terms of Sale apply to all products supplied by us via this site and we accept Orders under these Terms of Sale and they may not be altered or added to without our written agreement.

After you place an Order, you will receive an automatic e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received the Order. However, this does not mean that we have accepted your Order, if there are any errors or omissions we reserve the right to cancel an order. We reserve the right to cancel an order if there has been a pricing error. Whilst we try to ensure that all our descriptions and prices are accurate and kept up to date, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price or description of the Products you have ordered, we will let you know as soon as reasonably possible. We will then offer you the option of reconfirming your Order or cancelling it in exchange for a full refund.

We accept orders for Products subject to availability. If on receipt of your Order, the Products you have ordered are not available, either in stock or by special order, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible and if we are unable to obtain them in an agreed time we will cancel the Product from your Order and refund or credit you for any sum that has been paid by you for the Products.

If the security details on the card show any issues we reserve the right to request further details from you before continuing with an order.

Our terms are in addition to your UK Legal rights and nothing in our Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS and WARRANTY SPECIFICS

Your right of cancellation on all online orders

If you change your mind you have the right to cancel an order within 14 calendar days of receipt. The exclusion to this is bespoke or personalised items. If you wish to return the order then please email us beforehand. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with the seals intact. The return policy is provided to give customers the same rights of inspection as you would get if you were in a retail store. Items returned must be done so by a trackable service. We will give you the full return details and how to return it. You can examine the goods as you would in a shop but to obtain a full refund you must not start using them, install them or input any data/software. Please note that you have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the Products while they are in your possession and we will not accept any liability for their loss, damage or destruction after they have been delivered to you. If the value of the Products has been reduced as a result of your handling of the Products (beyond what is reasonably necessary for you to establish the nature or functions of the Products), then we may recover the reduction in value from you, either by deducting this amount from any refund due to you, or by requesting payment directly from you.

    Statutory rights

     

  • Your right of cancellation is in addition to your other statutory rights.
  • The after sales service and guarantees and the voluntary code for the return of goods by you to us mentioned below do not affect your statutory rights.

    Our change of mind return policy lasts 14 days for unused unwanted items. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange on items that are not faulty. To return an item within the 14 day period please email customercare@ac-technology.co.uk 

    We make no representations of FPS and game compatibility and it is your responsibility to ensure that a PC which you order is suited to the games you wish to play. In the event of return of non faulty items you will need to arrange your own insured shipping to return the item to us. 

    For faulty goods we refund the cost of the goods to you if returned within 30 days of the date of delivery; in any other case we will replace the goods or provide you with a credit for the cost of the goods.

    In every case where you return goods upon the basis that there was a defect in the goods at the point of delivery to you we will inspect and test the goods.

    Insofar as it may be established that there was no defect in the goods at the point of delivery to you, we reserve the right to charge you £50 or 20% as a contribution towards the cost of inspecting and testing the goods. This is only on items returned as faulty which no fault can be found.
    If the warranty seal has been removed from your PC, or we have evidence that your PC has been opened (including but not limited to, removing the side panels), then your warranty will revert to a 12 month Parts only warranty. Items that develop a fault must be returned as parts where they will be tested and replaced as necessary provided there is no physical damage by the user. We do not allow third party repairs under the terms of our warranty. Items that may by faulty are our responsibility and we provide technical support to establish if your item needs to be returned to ourselves for examination and repair or replacement.

    *To enjoy the continued benefit of our full 3 year system warranty please ensure that you contact us if you are considering upgrading. The 3 year warranty is the 1st year Parts and Labour and years 2-3 Labour only.

    All items returned must include your full contact information and any reasons for return. Not including these may mean that your items are placed in a holding area until we do receive them. 

    Please be aware that outgoing calls from us if you have  an issue may be recorded. A copy of this call can be obtained under the normal Data Subject Access Request terms.

    To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

    There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
    Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
    Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery or is in a used condition.

    Refunds (if applicable)
    Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval of your refund.
    If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days.

    Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
    If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
    Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
    Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
    If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at customercare@ac-technology.co.uk.

    Exchanges (if applicable)
    We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at customercare@ac-technology.co.uk and send your item to: AC Technology 369 Edge Lane Liverpool GB L7 9LQ.

    Gifts
    If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

    If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

    You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning any unwanted unopened unused items within the 14 day period provided under the consumer rights act 2015

    Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

    If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

    FAULTS
    Should your item develop a fault then you must follow our procedure for returning the goods. If this is within the first 30 days then we will arrange a courier to collect your item and return it to you once it has been repaired. After 30 days the customer is responsible for the return of your item. If a fault is found then we will arrange the return once repaired. If no fault is found then you will be contacted to arrange payment of return carriage.

    Courier damage should be notified to us by email within an hour of receipt , if the packaging appears damaged then please contact us before signing for the goods.

    Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
    Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

    Payment:
    If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
    All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
    PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
